Nancy Brooks

Nancy spent much of her childhood admiring the wildflowers in the woods, digging tunnels in the snowdrifts and just being a freckle-faced country girl. Her mom and grandma made sure she knew the names and uses of the many native herbs and plants, which stirred in her an interest to dig deeper and learn more about what our surroundings have to offer us. She still enjoys her time in the woods, but also in the kitchen and her soap room, where it is not unusual to find nettle tea steeping, calendula soap curing and comfrey balm cooling.
