An Art Teacher, licensed in WI and MN. She has worked in various teaching venues since graduating from the University of MN with a B.S. in Animal Science in 1979. After assist managing a dairy farm near Rochester, MN she shifted to Directing a Public Access to Cable Television studio in Cloquet, MN. She spent several years working in the Cable Television Local Origination and Public Access service before moving to her farm near Red Wing, MN in 1993. She shifted to serving as graphic and web designer for Fairview Red Wing Health Services and n 2001, she returned to school and pursued her art teaching certification and M.S. Ed Fine Art degrees at University of Wisconsin, River Falls. This led to a position as a CE Coordinator/Technical Writer and currently to substitute teacher, K-12, all subjects. Her passion is photography, weaving, drawing, watercolor, mosaics, and clay. Also, since 2004, she has experimented with fruit wine making. She utilized her Animal Science background to manage her farm, raising and selling sheep, horses, fruit, herbs and wool.
